WHAT – fUSbrain2026 is an international scientific meeting dedicated to functional ultrasound imaging of the brain. Join us from August 30th to September 5th 2026 and experience a full week of keynote lectures, interactive presentations and poster sessions on the latest advances of this prolific research field.

WHERE – It will be held at the Institut d’Etudes Scientifiques de Cargèse (France). This beautiful Corsican village offers a relaxed seaside atmosphere, fostering fruitful interactions.

WHO – Scientists and clinicians from all disciplines related to brain imaging and brain research are welcome (physics, biomedical engineering, neurobiology, clinical neuroscience, etc). We are encouraging the participation of students and junior researchers.

TOPICS – fUSbrain2026 will cover various research topics related to functional ultrasound: ultrasound physics for neuroimaging, fundamental studies and preclinical brain research, clinical needs for cerebrovascular diagnosis and neurologic treatments, combination of ultrasound with other neuroimaging modalities.

INVITED SPEAKERS – Keynote lectures will be given by a fantastic line-up of speakers, including: Prof. Topun Austin (Cambridge University Hospital, UK), Prof. Bruno Bontempi (Université de Bordeaux, FR) Dr. Yves Boubenec (Ecole Normale Supérieure, FR), Dr. Vasileios Christopoulos (University of Southern California, USA), Dr. Mohamad El Amki (University Hospital of Zurich, CH), Prof. Matteo Carandini (University College London, UK), Dr. David Maresca (TU Delft, NL), Prof. Serge Picaud (Paris Vision Institute, FR), Dr. Pierre Pouget (Paris Brain Institute, FR), Dr. Sadaf Soloukey (Erasmuc MC, NL), Dr. Pengfei Song (Duke University, USA), Prof. Mickael Tanter, (Physics for Medicine Paris, FR)
